The hospital has steadily improved access for international patients by assigning English- and Russian-speaking interpreter coordinators, establishing a dedicated international patient desk, and implementing multilingual signage. These efforts have strengthened the hospital’s reputation as a trusted provider of care for overseas visitors.

The hospital’s global health initiatives extend beyond South Korea. On July 29, the hospital launched a telemedicine center at Dornogovi General Hospital in Mongolia, as part of the “2025 Busan Medical Technology Exchange Promotion Project” led by the Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency. A delegation led by Dr. Woo-young Seo, director of the International Medical Center, visited Mongolia to explore collaboration opportunities. He was accompanied by Dr. Chae-yuk Heo, head of the Cerebrovascular Center; Dr. Jae-wan Lim, director of the Ophthalmology Center; and Chang-soon Park, team leader of the interpreter services. The group also hosted a meeting with neurosurgery experts at Mongolia’s National Trauma Center.
“We will keep working to deliver medical services that foreign patients can count on,” said Dr. Heo Hyun, president of Good Gang-an Hospital.
