The year-long evaluation, spanning January to December 2023, scrutinized the quality of breast cancer care across South Korean medical institutions. It focused on critical metrics, including the composition of specialized medical personnel, the thoroughness of pathology reports, and the frequency of radiation therapy post-mastectomy. Hanyang University Hospital secured perfect scores in these areas and excelled in other measures, such as the rate of multidisciplinary care.

“This recognition underscores our medical team’s dedication to delivering personalized care for every patient,” said Dr. Hyung-Joong Lee, president of Hanyang University Hospital. “We remain committed to enhancing our multidisciplinary framework and specialized care to elevate treatment outcomes and patients’ quality of life.”
