Under the theme “WE LEAD, The Prime of ALL,” the symposium drew over 500 medical professionals to discuss advancements in lifting technology and Merz’s brand vision. The event underscored South Korea’s pivotal role in shaping global trends in the medical aesthetics industry.
Dr. Park’s 40-minute lecture, titled “Precision Reimagined: Advanced Tailoring Strategy for Lift & Renewal with Ultherapy Prime,” focused on customized lifting methodologies tailored to the unique characteristics of Korean skin. Drawing on clinical data and his expertise, he presented strategies for individualized treatments based on factors such as skin laxity, skin and fat layer thickness, and specific procedural goals.

“Compared to the original Ultherapy, which targeted depths up to 4.5mm, Ultherapy Prime delivers ultrasound energy to depths of 8mm,” Dr. Park explained. “This allows for effective treatment in patients with thicker skin or advanced aging, while also reducing procedure time to enhance patient comfort and enable more precise, personalized lifting outcomes.”
He further emphasized the importance of skilled practitioners, noting, “As technology enables more refined procedures, expertise in precise shot placement is critical. Experienced clinicians are essential to minimizing discomfort and preventing side effects such as volume loss in the cheeks.”
The symposium’s panel session featured discussions on clinical case studies and the application of real-time imaging systems, with attendees exchanging insights on the technology’s utility and future directions.
